Dr. Michael Thompson
Since graduating from Life University in 1987, Dr. Mike Thompson has dedicated 38 years to private practice, focusing on the upper cervical spine from the outset, influenced by a transformative experience following a car accident in the early ’80s. With a career rooted in “pain to purpose,” he has significantly impacted thousands through upper cervical specific treatments. Initially passionate about Orthospinology under the mentorship of Drs. John D. Grostic and J.K. Humber, Sr.,
Dr. Thompson transitioned to include Blair Upper Cervical in 2005, succeeding Dr. Mary Ann Pruitt. Trained by Drs. Tom Forest and Todd Hubbard in this specialized technique, he has become one of the few experts in both upper cervical disciplines, finding the Blair analysis particularly transformative. His expertise over the past 20 years has provided relief for sufferers of conditions like Ménière’s, Vertigo, and chronic neurological pain, extending his impact to personal injury cases through a deep understanding of Craniocervical Junction issues and concussion-related instabilities. Founder of ImpairmentPros.com, Dr. Thompson lives in Lake Dallas, TX, with his family, holding chiropractic licenses in Texas and Florida.
